Puerto Vallarta 2011

I miss taking photos of bands like crazy, but I got some amazing shots while with my fam on vacation in Puerto Vallarta. I need either (A) my fave bands from my time at IU to come out to LA for some shows or (B) to meet people in crazy cool bands in LA, which shouldn't be that hard but really if I could have A, I'd be pretty happy :)

Friday, Friday! Gotta Get Down On Friday!

Ok so on friday night (3/25), Dot Dot Dot returned to The Bluebird bar to play. I decided to take this wonderful opportunity to try out something new with my camera. Fruit Roll Ups. Yeahhh thats right, I'm cool. What I did was put the fruit roll up over the flash, and then when you take a picture using the flash, it comes out tinted. The tint wasn't always consistent in color, but I think I like it that way. the red and blue were the most vibrant and I'm obsessed now.

So this is what happens when you put fruit roll ups on the flash of your camera. Pretty colors!

Main Squeeze CD Release Party, March 5

Here are the photos from The Main Squeeze's CD release party last night at the Bluebrid Bar. I don't know how I managed to be so prompt in uploading these bad boys, since I had 228 pictures to go through (dont mix drinking and photography...you get carried away). Anyways...The Main Squeeze was unreal, as per usual, and if you weren't there you should be very sad that you missed it. The Squeeze is always a great band to watch, and always fun to dance to as well. Check out The Main Squeeze here!
